SMC Leadership Team

Doug received a bachelor’s of science in civil engineering from the University of Maine in 2006.  He was employed for several years with an engineering firm before joining Sullivan and Merritt in 2010.  Doug was hired as part of the project managing team leading projects in government, institutional, marine, commercial, and industrial manufacturing construction.  He’s been the Quality Control Manager at SMC for over 10 years, served as Vice President and now CEO and owner.  With his extensive educational background and project management experience, Doug has the ability and knowledge to lead SMCorp within all aspects of construction, while working to integrate and promote growth within the company.

Lucas has a master electrician’s license and an associate’s degree in electrical power. Earning an electrician license in 1998 he has over 27 years of experience in the field. Starting employment through SMC in 1999, he has risen through the company from superintendent level to electrical project manager, vice president and now President and owner. With his background in power generation and heavy industrial manufacturing projects, he brings forth diverse experience to serving clientele in an ever-expanding market. Lucas’s electrical expertise throughout the years has created a path of transition into his current responsibilities and leadership as President of SMCorp.
